EUSeaMap: A broad-scale physical habitat map for European
Seas
This booklet, published in August 2014, provides a
summary of the EMODnet Seabed
Habitats phase 1 (2009-2012) achievements, as well
as the plans for the second phase of the project(2013-2016). It
summarises the benefits of predictive maps and the principles
behind creating such maps. It also contains examples of
how EUSeaMap maps have been applied in marine research
and management.
